Fundación Amigos de la Juventud, AC (Fundaju) , social arm of Corporativo Linces, has two action programs: Jugando Juntos and the Scholarship Fund Program , through which it has managed to improve the quality of life of thousands of Mexican families .
The Fundaju scholarship program supports high-achieving students to continue their primary, secondary, high school and undergraduate studies. Fundaju grants this scholarship to regular students who have a minimum average of eight.

Social Responsibility Scholarship
Fundaju and the Universidad Anáhuac joined forces to deliver the “José Ortega Romero and Teresa Martínez de Ortega” scholarship , in tribute to the founder of the Universidad del Valle de México and his wife.
The call was opened for the first time in the history of Fundaju in August 2019. Participants registered for this call by sending the necessary documentation to request admission to the program. These documents had to include a social project that would be reviewed by members of the Council. from the Anáhuac University and Fundaju.
This civil association is proud to award the scholarship to a student who shares the values of ethics, social commitment and social responsibility, main elements that an agent of change must take into account.
The process
55 applicants registered for this call , receiving 22 social projects and having only one winner.
The members of the jury announced the winner of this important scholarship: Sandra Vargas Flores, who has a degree in Law from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and will soon have a master's degree in Social Responsibility from the Universidad Anáhuac.
Sandra graduated from her Law Degree in 2008. Her career has allowed her to have a responsible spirit, which is why she decided to participate in this call; She knows that social responsibility in Mexico must be available to everyone with executable projects.
A project that transforms the social fabric
The project that Sandra presented and her desire to continue learning about social responsibility made her a recipient of this scholarship. The Culturalia IAP project was created by Sandra five years ago, and is an institution that aims to provide art, sports and crafts workshops to children and young people in Nezahualcóyotl, a municipality in the State of Mexico where there is the highest criminal recidivism.
“What we are looking for with my project is to direct the talent of children and young people with art, sports and crafts to prevent them from being absorbed by the environment of insecurity and violence that exists in Neza,” said Sandra Vargas, winner of the “José Ortega” scholarship. On the other hand, the Anáhuac University continues to offer an exclusive academic offer on issues of social responsibility.
